Effective September 7, 2026.
This policy explains how the app handles your collection. No separate app account is required. You can collect locally on your iPhone; when available, your existing iCloud account provides private synchronization.
Your collection on this device
The app stores your tracked sets, card-variant ownership, collection history, custom binder names and goals, selected cards, pocket arrangements, section titles, Hunt priorities, and synchronization metadata. Preferences and cached catalog information and artwork are also stored locally. This enables tracking, searching, arranging, and viewing downloaded collections offline.
Private iCloud synchronization
When enabled in Settings and iCloud is available and configured for this build, the app synchronizes tracked sets, ownership states, collection history, custom binders and their entries, and binder arrangements through the private CloudKit database associated with your iCloud account. Synchronization metadata and records of removed or unowned items help keep changes consistent across devices. Local preferences and downloaded catalog images are not uploaded to this database. Turning synchronization off retains local data and any existing iCloud copy; it does not delete cloud records.
Apple provides the account and hosts CloudKit under its own privacy terms. The app does not receive your Apple Account password or ask you to register an email address, create a public profile, or use a separate app login. The current app does not use Supabase. The app remains usable locally when iCloud is unavailable; an internet connection alone does not mean synchronization has completed.
Card catalog and artwork
The app requests card metadata and primary artwork from TCGdex. Missing or edition-specific artwork may be retrieved from the Pokémon TCG API image service, Malie Library, PkmnCards, Bulbagarden Archives, TCGplayer's image service, or PriceCharting's image storage hosted by Google Cloud. Selected set logos are requested from Serebii. These providers can receive ordinary network information, including your IP address and the catalog search, card, or image requested, and handle those requests under their own privacy practices.
The app does not deliberately send your ownership marks, binder names, collection history, or iCloud identity to catalog or artwork providers. Catalog data and images are cached on the device, not copied into the app's private CloudKit database. TCGCSV is used during catalog preparation, not contacted by the app; no pricing data is imported.
Optional supporter purchase
The optional one-time supporter purchase does not unlock collecting features: every tracking and collecting feature remains free. Apple processes payments. The app reads verified StoreKit purchase information to recognize and restore supporter status and respond to refunds or revocations. It does not receive payment-card or billing details.
Supporter status belongs to your App Store account and is independent of your collection and iCloud synchronization. The app does not upload purchase transactions or supporter status to CloudKit.
Sharing, exports, and imports
Sharing and exporting happen when you choose those actions. A collection backup can contain your tracked sets, card records, ownership states, collection history, custom binder names and entries, arrangements, and dates. An imported backup is read to restore the collection you selected.
Shared Hunt lists can reveal missing cards and their binder locations. A completion keepsake can include the binder name, goal, counts, and completion date. Review what you share before choosing a recipient or destination. Files and images saved or shared outside the app are subject to that destination's privacy practices and are not removed when you delete data in the app or uninstall it.
Advertising and diagnostics
The app contains no advertising SDK or third-party analytics SDK and does not build advertising profiles. It does not request your contacts, precise location, or camera access. It does not sell your collection information.
Apple may provide App Store, TestFlight, or crash diagnostics according to your Apple settings and Apple's policies. This is separate from the app's collection synchronization.
When you contact support
If you contact the developer at pjscollectibles.store@gmail.com, your email address, message, and anything you voluntarily attach may be received and used to respond, troubleshoot, or handle a privacy request. Avoid sending passwords or unrelated personal information.
Retention and your choices
Collection information remains locally while the app retains its data. Removing a set or custom binder does not necessarily erase ownership marks or collection history. Removed-item records may remain to synchronize removals, and unmarking a card may leave a collection Journey event.
Deleting the app removes its local app data, but does not automatically delete synchronized iCloud records, device backups, or exported copies. Offloading an app can preserve its local data. Reinstalling with iCloud available may restore previously synchronized records.
Use Apple's iCloud storage and account controls to manage information retained by iCloud, and separately remove any exports or backups you no longer want. Apple's retention and backup practices apply to data held by Apple. There is no separate app account to delete.
Security
The app uses platform storage protections and a private CloudKit database rather than a public collection database. Keep your device and Apple Account secure. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
General audience
The app is intended for general collectors, is not directed to children, and is not offered in Apple's Kids category.
Policy updates
This policy will be updated when the app's data practices change. The revision date appears at the top.
